Since Jonathan is from Montreal and Lisa is from England, but living in Chamonix, France, where they had originally met and worked together, they decided to perform their legal marriage in Côte St-Luc, a burough of Montreal.

The ceremony was officiated by Mayor Anthony Housefather of Côte St-Luc.

Lisa’s parents, Hellen and Mick came all the way from England to be present. Also present were Andrew and Rebecca, brother and sister-in-law, who came from Toronto; Sol and Mary, father and step-mother; Sonia, mother; Sylvia and Lilian, grand-mothers.

The party then continued at Jonathan’s parental home where friends and relatives came to celebrate.

A Chamonix, France celebration is scheduled to take place in October.
